I’m currently working on prepping next month’s release: another short, short story that will be available for free on this site and some online retailers. After that, work begins on assembling my first paperback book created from all of the previous short stories that have been released as e-books!
FREE: A short, winter’s day tale of things better left unseen, by the author of such horrors as The Birthing and A Feast Before Dawn.
Author’s Note: Apparently, it is not so simple to release a free story! Certain sales outlets will not allow free e-books. Interesting. So… the story is available at some retailers for a minimal fee (.99) and others for free. I have also set up a Free Samples page with a .pdf version. Enjoy!

Work progresses ever so slowly on a fantasy piece I am writing at the moment (not that I was ever a quick writer). Must be the summer heat; it saps the mind.
Next month’s release will be a very, very short story and be available for free. Yes, free! I will upload it to all the usual online outlets, as well as make it available on the site as a PDF. Most likely, the release after that will be handled the same way (sometime in October).
After that, I will have published enough stories to make up a print version that contains them all, and I will begin assembling the materials in order to make that happen. Personally, I always prefer reading physical books over their e-book counterparts and am looking forward to publishing in paperback form.
Now available from most online retailers is my new novella, A Feast Before Dawn.
Are vampires real? It’s a question young college student, Yuki Yamamura, is about to find the answer to the hard way. In a city plagued by a rash of gruesome killings, a late-night lapse in judgement puts Yuki in harm’s way. Even with the aid of a mysterious stranger, an ally she never knew she had, it’s a night of terror she might not live to see the end of.
I will begin preparing the next story to be released as an e-book in just a few weeks, aiming for an early July availability date. It’s a novella about vampires! It is, of course, a well-trodden literary path, writing about the undead, but I couldn’t resist. Who doesn’t like vampires? Look for it next month: A Feast Before Dawn!
Now available from most online retailers is my novelette, The Bitter Fruit of Vengeance, a tale of horror.
A man gifted with mathematical genius uses his miraculous formulae for purely selfish and materialistic ends, and the path he’s chosen lands him in a life or death situation from which there may be no return. Now, with the odds stacked against him, he’s got nothing but survival on his mind and vengeance in his heart as fate makes an unexpected turn in the bleak landscape of the Nevada desert.
I recently finished a novelette about a hitman, which I mentioned in an earlier post, and it is currently being read by my beta readers. Alas, it will be quite some time before I publish it in any readily accessible form as it is the eleventh story I’ve written, and I am publishing previous tales at a rate of about one every two months (as of the writing of this post, I have published two).
Currently, I am midway through the first draft of my thirteenth story, a short tale of terror set during a frat party I am sure will chill the bones.
Later this month, I will begin the formatting process on the next story to be published as an e-book, The Bitter Fruit of Vengeance, another novelette. So, that should be available sometime in the first week of May for those of you eager for something new to read.
First, I would like to thank all of you who purchased a copy of my first e-book, Servitor of the Dark. I genuinely appreciate your support (and, of course, hope that you enjoyed the story). If you have the time or inclination, please write a review on whichever site you purchased your copy from; it would be most helpful.
Second, the next story to be published will be much longer in length, a novella titled The Birthing, and will be made available sometime in March, also as an e-book. I will begin the formatting process toward the end of February.
For those of you that are interested in print versions of my work, I assure you that when I have published enough of these short stories (there are many more coming) to make up enough pages for a printed paperback book, I will do so.
And last, regarding my current endeavor, I am about twenty hand written pages into a short horror story about a hitman whose assignment doesn’t go quite the way he expects. I’ll leave it at that. Saying more might give away the plot, as the story is fairly short.
